Happy Holy Monday Friends,
In the Christian tradition, Jesus was in Jerusalem today teaching to the disciples, the chief priests and the Jewish leaders, ever mindful of the difficult days ahead. In response to the question, “Which is the most important command in the law of Moses?” Jesus answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second most important is similar: Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.” (Matthew 22:36-37)
Today, remember to love God and to love others. When we do, we honor Jesus’ sacrifice.
