Holy Wednesday.

In the Christian tradition we observe today as the day Judas, a friend and follower of Jesus, chose to betray Him for 30 silver coins, reportedly, the common price for a slave. “Then Judas went to the chief priests and asked, “How much will you pay me to get Jesus into your hands?” And they gave him thirty silver coins.” (Matthew 26:14) A slave’s price for a friend. But, Jesus continued to love Judas, despite his betrayal. All of us fail and make mistakes. We betray Jesus. We betray ourselves. We betray others. But, the message of Jesus is love and forgiveness. Focus on forgiving yourself and forgiving others. In so doing, you honor the teachings of Jesus, and you bring hope, light, love, and life to the world.
